Checkers came into our care as a stray at around 12 weeks old, and she was incredibly poorly. She was suffering from severe signs of cat flu alongside a general infection, and in those early days, we weren’t sure she was going to make it.

But what a little fighter she is!

Thanks to the dedication of our veterinary team, cattery staff and, most importantly, Checkers’ own determination, she has made an incredible recovery. Seeing her now, you’d never believe just how much she has overcome.

Checkers is a bright, resilient and affectionate young cat who is ready to leave her difficult start behind and find a loving forever home. She is still receiving eye drops while she continues to recover, but these will be provided through our on-site vets until her treatment is complete, so her new family will have all the support they need.
