Here to help animals.

We care for Dogs, Cats, Horses, Rabbits and more. Established in 1988 we are one of the largest animal rescue centres in South Yorkshire. We look after animals who are vulnerable and neglected and need care and love.

How can you help?

Adopt an animal

Through our adoption process we try to find each animal the home best suited to them, to make sure we get a happy ever after home for both animal and owner alike.

Make a donation

Our aim at Thornberry Animal Sanctuary is to find all the animals that we take into our care their forever homes. Your donation, whether one off or monthly, will help to pay for their needs while they are with us.

Become a volunteer

There are many different ways to be involved as a volunteer at Thornberry. Each volunteer's contribution is greatly appreciated as without it, the day to day running couldn’t happen.
