Meet Popcorn

5 years old, professionally opinionated, and searching for a husbun who can deal with her nonsense.

Popcorn is absolutely not here to be your fluffy emotional support rabbit. She’s independent, sassy, and fully committed to being the main character at all times. If you’re looking for a bunny to cuddle all day, Popcorn would like to respectfully suggest… someone else.

What she *is* looking for is a confident, laid-back male rabbit with the patience of a saint. The kind of bun who can tolerate a little bossiness, ignore the occasional tantrum, and accept that Popcorn will probably always want the last word.

She prefers affection on her terms, enjoys doing her own thing, and has perfected the art of dramatic side eye. Underneath all the attitude though, she’s clever, hilarious, endlessly entertaining, and it is incredibly rewarding once you earn her trust.

Because she likes her boundaries respected, Popcorn would do best in an adult only home or with older, rabbit savvy children who understand that consent applies to rabbits too.

If your sweet male bunny is looking for a chaotic queen to keep him humble and make life interesting, Popcorn may just be his perfect match.

All rabbits need a spacious, secure enclosure no smaller than 3m x 2m by 1m high but the bigger the better! A quiet environment with fresh hay, veggies and enrichment.

The adoption process

Application
If you see an animal on our website that you are interested in adopting, you should fill out an Animal Enquiry form. This gives us more details about yourself and your lifestyle to make sure you are a good match for each other. If we get multiple requests for one animal, we will consider them all and choose the most suitable home to match it to a new owner. This will allow everyone interested a fair chance of adopting it
First meeting
If your application is successful, we will invite you for a first meeting. Here, you and the animal will meet each other and see how you get along. Following on from this, there may be more meetings and you can introduce other pets as required.
Home checks
Home checks are required for every dog before we set the adoption date. This was done physically pre-Covid but we now ask for videos and photos. We need to be sure the home environment is suitable for that dog and the garden is secure. If dogs/rabbits are going to live with other dogs/rabbits, we will arrange an introduction as previously mentioned.
Keep in touch
Every adoption is as unique as each animal. Please remember although sometimes it might seem like a lengthy process, we are doing this to make sure each animal is found the right home for their lifetime.
