In an inspiring display of dedication and community spirit, a group of Thornberry supporters recently conquered Snowdon, the highest peak in Wales, to raise funds our Sanctuary.

The hike started at Pen Y Pass Car Park and finished at the Llanberis Car Park. It took just over 7 hours to complete and was a challenging endeavor, but was ultimately a rewarding experience for all involved.

The team began their ascent at 4:30pm, navigating steep and rugged terrain through the Miners Track. Despite the physical demands, the hikers remained motivated by the cause and the breathtaking natural scenery. The highlight of the trek was reaching the summit at twilight, just in time to witness a stunning sunset. The vibrant hues of the setting sun provided a perfect backdrop, making the strenuous journey truly worthwhile.

We raise funds to help our animals, like Fendi (pictured), who needs a £4000 cruciate surgery on both legs. Your donations directly impact the lives of animals in our care, providing them with the necessary medical treatments and a chance at a better life.

A heartfelt thank you goes out to all our hikers for their incredible effort and determination. Your participation not only showcased your commitment to animal welfare but also brought our community closer together.

We also extend our deepest gratitude to everyone who donated in support of this event. Thanks to your generosity, we have raised over £3000, which will go directly towards the care and rehabilitation of animals at Thornberry Animal Sanctuary.

For those who would still like to contribute to our cause, donations are being accepted on our JustGiving page. Every donation, no matter how small, makes a significant difference in the lives of the animals we care for.

Thank you once again to all our supporters. Your kindness and support continue to make our work possible. Together, we can ensure a brighter future for the animals in our care.
