Three members of the Thornberry team are preparing to take fundraising to brand new heights — quite literally.
Lynsey, our Community Fundraising Manager, alongside Charley and Natalie, both Retail Managers, will be taking part in a daring wing walk in support of Thornberry Animal Sanctuary. The challenge will see them strapped to the wings of a plane as it soars through the skies — all to raise vital funds for the animals in our care.
The wing walk will take place at 11.00am on Sunday 23rd August 2026 at Wickenby Airfield, and while it’s certainly not for the faint-hearted, every adrenaline-fuelled moment will help support rescue, rehabilitation, and rehoming across the sanctuary.
We’re incredibly proud of Lynsey, Charley, and Natalie for taking on this challenge, and grateful to everyone who supports them as they prepare for take-off.
