Our small animals are the most overlooked when people bring donations for our animals, so your £3 is vital to ensure our bunnies, guinea pigs, rats and mice get just as much love as our bigger residents! Small animals often come to us because the small enclosures they live in make them unhappy and unsociable. It’s our mission to give them all the space and enrichment they deserve, and to educate all new owners in the needs of these complicated creatures. Your £3 helps us develop learning materials, as well as extra tasty treats for our small animals to nibble on!
Our cattery team works tirelessly to get our cats rehomed quickly. This means your £5 a month could support up to 12 different cats, or more if you’re lucky enough to get a family of kittens take up residence in your cat cabin! Your £5 a month will often be spent at the vets, purchasing essential vaccines or medicines for cats who come to us poorly. To help them trust and grow in confidence, your £5 might also mean a few extra toys to bring out their wild side! Once we’ve found the perfect home for one of our cats, unfortunately there’s always another waiting... But, thanks to you, we’ll be here for as many cats and kittens who need us.
For just £10 a month, you can contribute to the care of frightened and confused dogs, as they navigate the next chapter of their lives. Your money will directly support the dogs in your specific kennel, helping towards their medical checks, any vaccines they need, microchips to keep them safe, and treatment for any existing conditions. Once we’ve got them ready to rehome, you’re still helping keep them fed, warm and having fun through enrichment! Rehoming dogs can be a long process, so we don’t know how many individual dogs you’ll be impacting, but know that you’re playing a vital role in their wellbeing while they are with us. At the end of the year, you’ll get a special Thank You from all the dogs who had you as their guardian angel!
We have a number of animals who call Thornberry home and will forever! It could be that they have complicated needs, or they could be our superstar Shetlands that we take along to events to win over the crowds! These animals get just the same love and attention as our temporary residents, but they can sometimes get poorly or bored too! By sponsoring a Thornberry Farm Resident you’ll help towards hay costs (which keep going up!), medical treatment and enrichment to make sure that their lives at Thornberry are the best they can be. You’ll also get a very special invitation to our Farm Sponsor days- a seasonal welcome to meet your sponsored animals, and the rest of the herd!
Teddy is the sweetest little pony who loves cuddles, making friends, and munching on carrots and Stud Muffins!
Dolly is the boss of the herd, loves to be groomed and will wave her leg when she wants more brushing!

Elvis is a nervous boy, who is slowly building up his confidence- he’s now learnt to give kisses!
India was rescued from poor conditions after being bred from. She’s now the one who looks after all her friends and keeps them safe.
Cherry was due to have her life cut short after being rounded up on Bodmin Moor. Thankfully we were able to take her in and give her the quiet, safe life she deserves.
Fred- Retired from Mischief but not from stealing hearts. His favourite thing? Breakfast in bed!

Forest is a handsome thoroughbred, who was recently diagnosed with melanoma. We aren’t sure how long he has left, but we’ll make sure it’s the best!
