Guinness has just come into our care, and he is in truly heartbreaking condition. This little pony is suffering from bleeding, open sarcomas on his sheath, leaving him in constant pain and in desperate need of urgent treatment.
Despite everything, he has unbelievably survived without proper function in his stay apparatus—a vital system that allows horses to stand and rest. Every single day has been a struggle for him.
His past is devastating… Guinness was abused and ridden as a yearling, never given the chance to grow, develop, or simply be a pony.
Our vets have now seen him, and they have made it clear—he must get to an equine specialist as soon as possible for any real chance of a normal life. This is not optional… this is his very last chance.
His past owner loved him deeply but couldn’t afford the rising costs of his care, and made the heartbreaking decision to let him go so he could finally get help.
