"Why do we need to pay if we're volunteering our time?"We get asked this a lot! In many cases, individual volunteers won’t need to. Lots of businesses have a Community budget or are happy to make a donation alongside the volunteering day, so do check with your empoloyer!
If that’s not possible, a JustGiving page is a great way to reach your target with support from friends, family and colleagues.
We would love to welcome you without charge, but your donation helps cover the costs of running the day, including; staffing, equipment and materials, so we can provide a great volunteering experience for your team.
And we promise, a few fluffy cuddles make it all worthwhile!

Groups of 4–10 tend to work best at all of our locations, as we want to make sure there are enough tasks and activities for everyone to get stuck in.
However, if your numbers are higher or lower, please do to get in touch. We can use bigger groups for larger project work, and can accommodate smaller groups with advanced notice.
From dog walking to helping spruce up our cats’ and small animals’ spaces, pony grooming and feeding the pigs, there will be no shortage of furry friends to meet along the way.

With a dedicated but small team, many projects simply would not happen without the extra hands of volunteers. Every task you complete has a direct and meaningful impact, and means our team can concentrate on rehoming our animals.
Volunteering is well known to boost wellbeing, and when you add fresh air and cute furry faces, you are bound to end the day having done good, and feeling good!
