Thornberry and LensGo Team Up

Rotherham-based visual media agency, LensGo, have pledged to support a local animal sanctuary as they launch their own professional online videos

Thornberry Animal Sanctuary has rehomed thousands of animals since they were established in 1988 and continue to care for animals who, through no fault of their own, need a shelter.

The Thornberry team work hard to provide care for animals, big and small, before matching them with their perfect forever home. However, like many small charities, sourcing vital funding is an ongoing challenge. Rising overheads and a never-ending demand for their services mean that it’s now more important than ever to showcase the work they do.

LensGo has worked closely with the charity to develop films that they can use across their website and social media. LensGo MD, Stuart, said:

“If asked what I love more, dogs or filming, it would be hard to choose. We rescued a French bulldog, Frank the Tank, who’s a loyal mascot for the LensGo team. The work Thornberry do is so important and it’s a cause that’s close to my heart.

The films we have created have made an impact but we want to create a platform where people can follow the team’s hard work, celebrate their volunteers, and maybe capture some animal antics too!”

Thornberry Animal Sanctuary TV will be hosted online and accessible through YouTube and the sanctuary’s website.

Ged, Thornberry’s marketing manager, said: “We’re delighted that LensGo has kindly sponsored and supported our brand new TV channel. It’ll provide a platform where people can follow the journeys of our animals and see the hard work that happens behind the scenes. The ultimate aim is for our channel to generate much-needed donations that will help us to continue our work. We can’t wait to get started.”

LensGo Visual Media are a multi-media agency specialising in film production. They’ve developed online TV channels for a number of their clients including  Rotherham United Community Sports Trust, Rotherham Titans, Doncaster Knights, Baby Ballet, Benchmark Recruitment and Gulliver’s Theme Parks.
