Ripple is one of 12 cats who were sadly dumped at Thornberry Animal Sanctuary with no information about their past. Despite not having the space, our incredible cattery team pulled together to ensure all of them had a safe place to land. Now, these shy little souls are looking for the second chance they so deeply deserve. Ripple is a timid girl, but oh-so-sweet once she starts to feel safe. She’s gently curious, quite chatty in the right moment, and already showing us glimpses of her lovely personality each day. She especially appreciates the calm, reassuring presence of her carers – and has discovered that cheek rubs are actually quite nice! Like her companions, Ripple needs time, patience, and understanding. She’s simply scared right now – not aggressive or unfriendly – just unsure after such a sudden and traumatic upheaval. With slow, gentle socialisation and lots of love, we know Ripple will truly shine. Ripple would thrive in a quiet, adult-only home (or with older, gentle children), ideally with access to a secure garden once settled. A confident, friendly feline companion could also help her come out of her shell.
