George is a gentle and curious cat with the most soulful eyes. George has had a tough start in life – rescued from a hoarding situation where he lived with over 20 other cats, he’s never truly known what it’s like to be a cherished companion to a human. Because of this, he’s understandably wary of people, but beneath that cautious exterior is a cat who wants to trust, play, and belong. Despite his past, George’s natural curiosity shines through. We often catch him playing with his toys – chasing, pouncing, and exploring like the playful spirit he’s always been deep down. With plenty of toys and enrichment (and dreamies), George shows glimpses of the joyful life he could live with the right person by his side. George could live happily as an indoor-only cat or in a home with safe outdoor access, like a secure garden. He is also open to sharing his space with another feline-friendly cat, as long as introductions are done slowly and gently. What George needs most is a patient, loving human who understands that trust takes time – someone who’s willing to move at his pace and give him the affection and stability he’s never had.
